Sizer Visits TechBoston Academy

Ted Sizer, one of the most famous advocates of small, community-focused schools, visited TechBoston Academy with his wife and a cohort of doctoral candidates from Harvard University.

During their visit, Dr. Sizer and other guests sat in on classrooms, spoke to teachers, and assembled in the library to discuss some of the reasons for the success of TechBoston Academy.

The group was impressed by the integration of technology into all subjects, and the relevance of the academic exercises to real-life issues. Many walked away with many lessons learned, to someday apply to their own schools.
